The ion outflux is set by the transport model selected in NDEFINE and NMODEL. NDEFINE determines how the density profile for each ion species ig is defined.
NDEFINE(ig)=0
The thermal ion species with this setting are evolved as a group. Note that at least one species with NDEFINE=0 must be provided, since TRANSP does not allow to prescribe/specify all thermal ion species. [See detailed description]
NDEFINE(ig)=1
The density profile for each ion species is calculated based on radial trasport and fully specified sources. [See detailed description]
NDEFINE(ig)=2
The density profile for each thermal ion species is provided as input UFILES. [See detailed description]
Recycling or confinement time is still needed for the solution of the particle balance equation.
