When the ECH power and aiming angles change in time, they can be provided by UFILES of by MDS+ signal input, instead of being set in the namelist. When this is done, the values of TECHON/TECHOFF in the namelist are overwritten by the time traces. The UFILES need to include values for all gyrotrons, thus the number of gyrotrons in the UFILE must match the number of gyrotrons in the namelist, this given by NANTECH.
The UFILES prefix and suffix are:
PREECP/EXTECP for the EC power (Watt) vs time
PREECA/EXTECA for the polar aiming angle (degrees) vs time
PREECB/EXTECB for the azimuthal aiming angle (degrees) vs time
