TORBEAM is a beam tracing code for evaluating the electron cyclotron heating and current drive in a plasma. As a beam tracing code, it will run much faster than codes based on a ray tracing algorithm.

- Selects the fraction of RF power launched with O-MODE polarization for each gyrotron (j=1:nantech), the only acceptable values being 0 (X-mode) and 1 (O-mode). The default value is 0.

- initial principal vertical beam width for gyrotron j.
- ECB_CURV_HOR(j)
- initial principal horizontal curvature for gyrotron j.

- initial principal vertical curvature for gyrotron j.
- TOB_XZEFF
- Control flag for how the Zeff profile is handled.
- -1 → to use the profile from TRANSP.
- 0 → to use a flat profile, equal to the value on axis.
- >0 → to use a flat profile, with this input value.
